Qualifications • U.S. Citizenship required. • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, AND 10+ years of relevant experience in electrical hardware design and development. OR • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, AND 8+ years of relevant experience in electrical hardware design and development. • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret level security clearance • Experience with communicating with electronics/instrumentation via software programming (e.g. C#/LabVIEW). • Experience supporting defense, aerospace, or similar technical engineering environments. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience leading an electrical and software project, from cradle to grave, and coordinating tasking between multiple engineering functions. • Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Eagle. • Experience with Hardware Test Automation tools such as TestStand. • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles, including signal integrity and power integrity. • Experience designing and utilizing PXI-Based Automatic Test Systems for testing Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) • Experience with developing Test Requirements Documents by interpreting Interface Control Documents for military systems. • Hands-on experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers for testing and debugging. • Familiarity with EMI/EMC design considerations and testing. • Experience designing cables, interconnects, and interface solutions between test equipment and military systems. • Strong technical documentation, briefing, and reporting experience. • Advanced degree in a relevant field or additional certifications is a plus.
